Your details,
treated with care.

This page explains the data used by the Octet Studio website and its enquiry form. For a question about your information, email hello@octetstudio.eu.

Who is responsible

The controller is Florent Chif, trading as Octet Studio, 6120 Ham-sur-Heure, Belgium, enterprise and VAT number BE 0758.784.874. You can reach the studio at hello@octetstudio.eu or through the contact form.

When you send an enquiry

The form asks for your name, email address, message, and optional company and area of interest. These details are used to understand and respond to your request. Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list.

How messages are handled

When email delivery is enabled, the website sends your enquiry through Resend to the studio’s mailbox and to the owner’s notification inbox, hosted by Gmail. Replit provides the website hosting. These services process the information needed to provide their services. Please avoid putting passwords, sensitive records, or confidential attachments in the form.

Legal bases and retention

We use enquiry details to respond to a request and prepare a possible engagement, based on steps requested by you and, where appropriate, our legitimate interest in managing business enquiries. We keep messages only for as long as needed to handle the exchange, any resulting work and applicable legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

Local previews

When the form shows a local-preview notice, submission only validates the form and confirms the test. It does not send an email or save your message to a contact database.

Cookies and analytics

Optional analytics are off by default. With your permission, Google Analytics 4 measures public page visits and successful contact requests. Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and masked session recordings to help improve the site. You can accept or decline each tool independently, and change or withdraw your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Declining does not affect the website or contact form. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep tracking off.

We remember your choice in local storage for 180 days. Accepted tools may store first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_* for Google; _clck and _clsk for Clarity). Advertising storage and personalisation are disabled. Contact fields are masked for recordings, and names, email addresses and message contents are not sent as analytics events. The private CRM, client demos and local previews never load these tools. Clarity is also omitted on URLs with query parameters. Hosting infrastructure processes technical requests for delivery and security; fonts and project images are hosted here.

Google and Microsoft process this usage data under their own privacy terms, including processing outside your country. Details: Google · Microsoft.

You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

Security and your choices

The form uses validation and request limits to help prevent abuse. You can contact the studio to ask about information you have provided, correct it, or request its deletion. We will consider your request alongside any records we need to retain for an ongoing engagement or applicable obligations.

Client demonstrations

Demo links are shared for review and carry instructions asking search engines not to index them. Anyone with a working demo link can view it. Please do not use a demonstration to submit personal or confidential information.
